Complete Bathroom Renovation

A full bathroom renovation service covering every technical layer from infrastructure to final installation.

  • One scope for plumbing, waterproofing and finishes
  • System details at drains, corners and pipe penetrations
  • Tile setting-out coordinated with fixture dimensions
  • Defined sequence from strip-out to final installation
Complete Bathroom Renovation

A complete bathroom renovation is a broader technical project than simply replacing tiles and sanitaryware. Existing finishes are removed in a controlled way; water and waste lines, electrical connections, ventilation, drain position and floor falls are assessed against the current condition. Walls and floors are prepared back to a sound substrate, then the selected waterproofing system is completed with its specified corner, drain and pipe-penetration details.

The layout is planned around tile format, grout lines, niches, concealed cisterns, shower area, vanity and door clearances. Once finishes are complete, sanitaryware, taps, shower enclosure, furniture, mirror and lighting are installed, and connections and surfaces are checked before handover. More limited work that retains sound plumbing and waterproofing belongs to the separate Bathroom Refurbishment service.

Frequently Asked Questions

Are bathroom renovation and refurbishment the same?

No. Renovation may include infrastructure, waterproofing and substantial strip-out; refurbishment retains usable infrastructure and focuses on fixtures and surfaces.

How is waterproofing checked before tiling?

The check follows the selected system data sheet and drain detail. Layer continuity, corner tapes, pipe penetrations and drain connections are inspected before tiling; a ponding test is used where appropriate.

Can the bathroom layout be changed during renovation?

It may be technically possible, but drain level, pipe falls, ventilation, door clearance and shared services must be assessed together. Feasibility is confirmed at survey.

Who selects the tiles and sanitaryware?

Products are selected to the client's preference and technically checked for dimensions, installation type, maintenance and compatibility with existing services.
